October Partner Spotlight: Chad Eckberg, President and Founder, Access Unlimited and Security, Inc.

Welcome back! You’re just in time for the second installment of our monthly partner series, where we nominate an outstanding Identiv partner and shine the spotlight on them for our readers (you) to learn more about. Access Unlimited was founded in 2001 after Chad decided to become his own boss and the company has worked with Identiv since 2002. Access Unlimited prioritizes consultation, design, installation and maintenance of commercial/corporate electronic security, access control, IP cameras, networking, phones and audio. When asked about his company’s approach to innovation, Chad says Access Unlimited has a novel method: leadership takes customer feedback to the next level by utilizing end users’ feedback to dictate and round out their product offerings. I suppose you could say their motto is, “the customer is always right.” Fun fact: when Chad initially founded the company, it was a two-man show; his father retired and joined him to get the business off the ground. Now, the company consists of 19 employees and is steadily growing. And with this growth, Access Unlimited has found its sweet spot — instead of trying to do it all, the company smartened up and has since become less labor driven, which has led to a change in dynamic and allowed the organization to hone in on its core competencies, a major boon for businesses in today’s ever-evolving economy. 

So, what gets Chad out of bed in the morning?

His work, family and an intense workout regimen — he’s training for the full Ironman next June! And if he’s ever down on energy, just turn on Billie Jean or the Top Gun soundtrack to catch him jamming out.
