Light-weight, rugged design for use in harsh environments or constant motion.

Identiv's RFID Tags are tamper-proof transponders for use in demanding environments, including chemical exposure, mechanical stress, and high humidity. The tags are designed to be portable in active environments that require easy access to a whole set of services, including medical applications, personal lockers, vending machines, loyalty schemes, and amusement parks. This category of products encompasses hard tags, disc tags, and wristbands.

Highly resistant to breakage, Identiv’s specialized transponders are for markets and applications with unique requirements, such as those with repetitive impacts, heat, and moisture. Depending on the target application, the tags can be attached to a third-party product or to the target device in the field.

Identiv's portfolio features an extensive choice of RFID chips that include support for the most common RFID standards: ISO/IEC 15693, ISO/IEC 14443, ISO/IEC18000-3, or ISO18006-C EPC Gen2, including NFC Type 1, 2, 3, and 4. Adhesive labels are available with all major chip suppliers, including NXP, Infineon, Inside Secure, ST Microelectronics, Broadcom, EM Microelectronics, Alien Technology, Impinj, Sony Felica, and others.

Supported applications include, but are not limited to:

  • Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Library tags
  • Windshield tags for automotive vehicles
  • Tracking applications (e.g., animals, objects, etc.)
  • Industry and logistics
  • Solar panel and window tags
