Identiv’s Hirsch Mx-8 Controllers and Velocity Software Provides Flexibility and Scalability for Continued Growth
When one of the world’s largest automakers — SAIC General Motors Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China — needed to ditch its cumbersome, difficult to manage access control system and secure numerous facilities and a staff of over 58,000, the obvious solution was a complete, integrated Hirsch system. Currently, SAIC-GM has over 300 Hirsch Mx-8 Controllers deployed throughout locations across China. Over the next 5 to 10 years, SAIC-GM intends to continue to grow its relationship with Identiv and plans an overall system upgrade, including the addition of Identiv’s Hirsch Velocity Software.
