with Lockdown is an integrated platform that manages access control and security operations, providing the security and functionality expected from high-end systems with the ease-of-use found in entry-level packages. The system enables campuses to provide a safe, secure, and proactive learning environment. With Lockdown, threat levels can be activated from any reader on a campus using a card or code with varying urgencies available for insider versus outsider threats. In the event of a full-scale emergency, complete lockdown features include inputs, panic buttons, access cards, PINs, and web client commands from any device.
Velocity with Lockdown provides security operators and dispatchers across an entire campus with information in text or graphic formats. Operators can control all doors based on schedules, manual commands, or emergency conditions, which also have audit trails for forensic reporting of events after-the-fact. Velocity with Lockdown integrates with active shooter systems, as well as campus Blue Button systems, to alert both Identiv and the campus in the event of an emergency. Other key features include the ability to close and secure doors and areas remotely, to verify the identity of service personnel and control access, and to limit access to those who belong in the building.
