This year has been an interesting one to say the least. The COVID-19 pandemic has prevented us from taking in many experiences, our beloved trade shows included. Fortunately, the security industry is known for being resourceful.
Most major industry events ended up canceling their in-person events to hold virtual experiences instead. Global Security Exchange Plus (GSX+) was originally scheduled to take place Sept. 21-23 in Atlanta.
In June, ASIS announced the event would instead go virtual Sept. 21-25. Four days in, I think it’s fair to say the organization has done an admiral job of ensuring the trade show staples of education, networking and product exhibitions remained intact.
On the exhibition side, GSX+ offers the “Marketplace,” which lets attendees browse exhibiting companies and view on-demand product demonstrations provided by the exhibitors themselves.
To give you a taste of what the GSX+ Marketplace has to offer, SSI has assembled 11 exhibitor presentations that can be found at the virtual show.
Unsurprisingly, many of them center around COVID-19 solutions. Other areas include video surveillance, power management and more.
